This is one that I’ve recently made money with. I just got paid $97 for a fairly easy task that took me about an hour to complete.
Here’s what you do:
- You work as a freelancer contracted by companies that partner with insurance providers.
- You visit commercial or residential properties.
- You speak with the business owner. Their insurance company sends out inspectors to confirm that they are compliant within their lines of coverage.
- Along with taking photos, you submit a quick report.
I don’t have any formal certifications in this, and many companies are open to beginners — especially because a lot of people don’t even know this line of work exists.
What does this job look like?
- I get an order in the queue.
- I visit the location, take a few pictures, ask the owner a few questions.
