If you’re new here, I am PROFESSOR , and here we like to talk about all things money. And these money makers like to thrive, not just survive.

We’re all about having multiple streams of income here — and high-paying streams of income, at that.

1. Loss Draft Survey Inspector

This is one that I’ve recently made money with. I just got paid $97 for a fairly easy task that took me about an hour to complete.

Here’s what you do:

  • You work as a freelancer contracted by companies that partner with insurance providers.
  • You visit commercial or residential properties.
  • You speak with the business owner. Their insurance company sends out inspectors to confirm that they are compliant within their lines of coverage.
  • Along with taking photos, you submit a quick report.

I don’t have any formal certifications in this, and many companies are open to beginners — especially because a lot of people don’t even know this line of work exists.

What does this job look like?

  • I get an order in the queue.
  • I visit the location, take a few pictures, ask the owner a few questions.
  • I go home, upload the survey, submit it.

That’s it.

Different companies pay different prices. Some pay a flat fee, some pay for travel. One of these jobs paid me $97.
